Reference material for Royalty Payouts Paladin, one page per area of the app.
If you are setting it up for the first time, start with the tutorial instead. It gets you from install to an approved payout batch, and these pages assume you have seen the admin at least once.
- Creators Who a creator is, the three email addresses they can have, payout methods, tags, archiving, and portal invitations.
- Agreements and rules How a deal is modelled, what each setting does, the exact order a royalty is calculated in, and a worked example with the rounding.
- Advances and recoupment How Project Mode pays a reduced or zero rate until an advance is recouped, how a single sale can straddle the threshold, and how a shared advance pool works.
- Refunds, edits and balances How refunds reverse earnings, what the cap on repeated partial refunds does, how a manual override on a batch works, and how all of it reaches the balance a creator sees.
- Payout batches and approval When batches are created, what the statuses mean, how approval and sending are separated, and how money that arrives late still gets paid.
- PayPal payouts Connecting your own PayPal account, what is sent, how a line becomes paid, what happens to failures, and the limits of the integration.
- Statements, reports and emails What a statement of account contains, the scheduled emails the app sends, who controls the cadence, and what goes out under your store's name.
- The creator portal An optional sign-in where creators see their own earnings, what they can and cannot do there, delegated read-only access, and the two switches that narrow it.
- Settings Notifications, PayPal credentials, excluded order tags, the B2B switch, the creator portal toggles, linked stores, plan and billing.
