The app carries no version numbers, so each entry below is dated by the day the work landed. Entries before 3 September 2026 come from the app’s development, while it was in private use and before it was published on the Shopify App Store.

Custom domain and portal hardening - 2026-09-04

• The app and the creator portal now run on their own domain.
• Portal pages are served with stricter transport and framing headers.
• The page you land on after installing no longer 404s in some cases.

Published on the Shopify App Store - 2026-09-03

• First public release.

Managed billing, and linked stores on Growth - 2026-08-31

• Billing moved to Shopify’s own plan picker. Plans are chosen and cancelled in Shopify, and the app reads the result rather than creating subscriptions itself.
• Connecting two stores now requires the Growth plan or higher on both stores, with no per-store fee and nothing metered. If either store drops below Growth the link is paused rather than deleted, royalties keep being recorded, and everything resumes when both are back on Growth.
• CSV exports download in place instead of throwing you out of the Shopify admin.
• Links in billing screens and emails keep you inside the Shopify admin.

More than one batch per period - 2026-08-28

• A payout period can now hold several batches over its life. Royalties that accrue after a batch was cut, and refunds recorded after a period was paid, form a later batch instead of being stranded unbatched.
• Pay out current period early is available on every store, not just development stores, with a confirmation explaining what paying early costs you.

Rate versioning and clearer payout actions - 2026-08-27

• Changing a live rule’s rate now creates a new version with its own effective dates. The old rate stays attached to the earnings it produced, and the two versions never overlap.
• The Payouts page’s main button follows the state of your batches, and every confirmation says what will actually happen.
• The agreement editor’s next step became the header’s primary action.

Historical pull diagnostics - 2026-08-22

• A historical order pull that fails to start now says why, including Shopify’s own reason.
• Development stores can batch the current payout period.

Deductions, reports and shared agreements - 2026-08-20

• Shipping deductions are prorated across an order by weight rather than by price. Digital items are skipped entirely, and orders with no weights fall back to the previous behaviour.
• New Deduct unit cost deduction, using Shopify’s cost per item, with an explanation on every deduction toggle.
• New agreements deduct discounts by default.
• Shared agreements moved under the Agreements page, with per-agreement payout routing: the parent store aggregates and pays, or the linked store pays its own creators.
• Reports gained a store filter and a merged-SKU product dimension.
• A searchable creator picker with inline quick-create.
• Agreements with no financial footprint can now be deleted outright.
• The creator portal’s earnings pages were reworked around the balance.

Recorded payments and portal sharing - 2026-08-12

• A guided Record payment flow on the Payouts page, with cross-filtering creator and agreement pickers and a preview of what is owed.
• Creators can share read-only access to their own earnings with a manager or accountant, and set up scheduled reports.
• The creator portal gained sidebar navigation, Agreements and Settings pages, and a verified email-change flow.
• The statement of account shows the current year expanded and prior years collapsed with totals, and counts entries that a carve out made ineligible.
• Free-text search on the Agreements page.

Portal domains, aggregate reports and historical pull - 2026-08-11

• Historical order pull: replay a deal’s own order history back through the calculator so its full earnings land in the ledger.

The agreement editor - 2026-07-15

• Royalty rules are now grouped in an agreement-centric editor, with draft and publish, baseline recipients inherited by every rule, and collapsible sections for paused, archived and draft rules.
• Four plan tiers with a creators limit. PayPal payouts, the creator portal and email reports are gated by plan.
• Linked stores: generate a pairing code on one store and redeem it on another.
• Creators can be archived, unless they are on an active agreement.
• A Reports page: earned by creator, agreement and product across periods.
• Data cleanup: find historical order lines whose product version no longer exists, and review the ranked candidates one at a time before anything is credited.

Per-store PayPal and dynamic product selection - 2026-07-12
