Limits

Two kinds of limit apply: the allowance that comes with your plan, and a few fixed ceilings that exist so that a very large catalogue cannot slow the app or the checkout function down.

Plan allowances

Each plan includes a number of pair bundles and a number of complete sets. See the App Store listing for current pricing and what each plan includes. Your current usage against your allowance is on the app’s home page and on its Plan page.

Billing runs through Shopify. Upgrades, downgrades and cancellation all happen on Shopify’s own plan page, which the View plans button opens.

The two allowances behave differently when you reach them.

Bundles. At the allowance, the app stops you creating a new bundle and says which plan you are on. Bundles you have already created keep working at checkout. Saving over a product that already carries a bundle replaces it, which stays allowed at the limit.

Complete sets. Sets past the allowance are switched off at checkout rather than deleted. The sets created first are the ones kept. The app tells you how many are switched off, on the Complete Sets page and in the banner at the top of the app. Upgrading switches them back on by itself.

If the app cannot confirm your subscription with Shopify at that moment, it leaves every set switched on rather than trimming to a plan it is not sure about, and says so. Nothing on your storefront changes while that is true.

Fixed ceilings

These apply on every plan.

100 complete sets compiled for checkout	Sets past the hundredth are not included in what checkout reads.
250 products per set	A set larger than this is truncated, and a truncated set can never read as complete.
20 variants inspected per product when deciding stock	Beyond that, stock leniency may not see every variant of a member.
50 sets visible to the storefront block	Liquid caps how many set records a theme can read in one pass, so a store with more than fifty sets may not render the card for the later ones. The discount at checkout is unaffected.
A compiled configuration under 10,000 bytes	Shopify hands a function nothing at all for a larger value, so the app watches the size and warns before it gets close.
100 for a percentage reward	Higher values are treated as 100.

Listing ceilings in the admin

Two pages in the app read your catalogue in batches and stop at a ceiling, which affects what is listed, not what applies at checkout.

• The Bundles page scans your first 250 products. It says so when it has stopped early, and bundles on products past that point still work.
• The Complete Sets page pages through your sets and stops at a ceiling, with the same note.

One bundle per main product

A product can be the main product of one pair bundle. Saving a new bundle on a product that already has one replaces it. A product can be the add-on of any number of bundles, and can be a member of any number of sets.
